Hello. In March 2007 I began writing on LiveJournal as self-therapy to help ease the pain of a recent divorce. I began with what's called fanfiction and wrote quite a bit of fiction on a site I still maintain at http://tia-junan.livejournal.com

Now, on A Thousand Dreams, I hope to write some fiction that is a bit more mainstream but just as dramatic and full of angst, love and heartbreak, you know, the things that make life worth living.

The reaping

How my soul laughed then
now
my eternity so quickly come.
Bend your sickle to my stalk, Life
the grain is fallen
and I am ready.

Tears have watered me
and the soil loosens.
The storehouses are empty,
as am I.

Take me. Burn me
because I am all mourning
and my work all done.

There is a path there.
Take it.
Walk away.
There is a garden there.
Go and plant.

Go.
There is no need to wean me
from the light.
The Light will never leave me,
a promise I depend upon.

One last embrace and
I sigh.
The sweet smell of the finishing fire.
the crackling, my last complaints,
take me. Burn me.

And so it will still be written but not to a former audience. Too much love, eh? And I, unworthy or I may not believe I am worthy so it is like a cup filled with water in a hurricane. In the desert - it is a savior. In a deluge it is a joke. I continue to laugh. However many 'loved' me - now I've run away. And taken some advice.

If ever someone should not be so praised, if ever someone should not be desired or pursued, this is the someone. This place feels strange yet, without the instant acceptance or the controversy, but I'll get used to it, ne? This is not, of course, writing writing. It's just a welcome to myself.

I'll think of something to write soon.
